Keep up to date on the happenings in the District. The business area around the L&N Train Depot has been the circle of activity in Bay St. Louis Mississippi for many years. The buildings around the area reveal a greater part of the Bay St. Louis area, entering into the Main St. arena.

The Depot District has become the new Food area, Jack's Restaurant and  Coach Mike's. Anchored by the train depot itself, the Bay St. Louis Little Theater, the 100 Men DBA Hall with the area's first Mississippi Blues Trail marker, and the new Bay St. Louis Community Center, the area is always the main attraction for Cultural, Dining, and Entertainment activities in Bay St. Louis!

With  "Depot Row", allowing for more businesses, and the recent completion of the building famous for the movie "This Property is Condemned" by starring Robert Redford, Natalie Wood, and Charles Bronson by the Bay St. Louis Little Theater, the area known as the first business district to come to life after Hurricane Katrina is moving fast and furious as a must see destination spot.

Many of the buildings are being repaired using the MDAH Historical grants, preserving the historical integrity of the Beach Boulevard Historical District.

Just a few blocks from Old Town, the depot grounds now hold lighted walkways around beautiful Live Oak trees and a sprawling duck pond filled with swans, mallards, muskovie ducks, along with koi, minnows, and blue crabs. A must see with the family, where picnic tables are plentiful, as well as shade and fresh air. Bring the family for an outing and enjoy this huge city park. Get duck food across the street and enjoy the day in the Bay.
